Real Estate License Qualifying Courses
This is the category of courses that students must complete before they can apply for their Real Estate Salespersons or Brokers license. Salespersons License applicants only need to complete Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice and one other course before they can obtain their license. Brokers must complete eight courses before they can apply to take the State License exam.
When applying for the exam, students must submit evidence of completion of the required Qualifying Courses. Our courses are approved by the Department of Real Estate (DRE) as correspondence (home-study) courses. Therefore, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for each completed course, which needs to be submitted with their Real Estate License exam application.
License Qualifying courses are all based on DRE-approved textbooks, roughly 450 to 500 pages long, and require students to successfully pass a 100-question, open-book, multiple-choice exam.
Each course includes:
- Textbook
- Video Lecture on DVD
- Online final exam
- DRE-approved course completion certificate
